What Can I Do For You?

Sleep Skills

Hi I’m, Natalie Erickson, Pediatric Sleep Consultant, teacher, and momma to an energetic little boy and a beautiful baby girl.

I work with parents looking to get their little ones sleeping through the night so they can too!

Babies don’t come with a manual… I’m sure you’ve heard that one before. Well it’s true.

At the early ages of life to adolescence, sleep should take up about 50% of your child’s daily activities. And if that is not happening then this means no one in the house is getting the sleep they need.

Sleep is a skill, and if that skill was never taught then problems can occur. It may not happen right away and also may not have seemed so bad, at first, but if this skill isn’t developed then things only get worse.

Together we find practical and effective solutions to these sleep struggles that work with your family so that you can have less stress, get your night’s back, and ensure a good night’s sleep for everyone.

When it All Began?

The Early Morning Waker

I got into this because my son was an “early morning waker.” Around 13 months old he started waking up between 4-5am.

I either wanted that extra hour or sleep or needed that time to get ready for work. I knew this also wasn’t good for him because he was exhausted throughout the day.

Then our issues progressed into him waking in the middle of the night. At this point he hadn’t done that since he was 3 months old. Then it grew into him not even wanting to go down to sleep.

My rock bottom… when I found myself crawling into his crib with him at night. Just so I could get some sleep! (Yes I do fit, I’m 5’2”). I realized a change needed to be made… and fast!
